shaïna gabala is a photographer and creative director with a love for portraiture, editorial, and street+documentary work.

 

she is currently based in milan, italy, although “home” has always been a moving target for her. born in Côte d’Ivoire and raised across different countries, it’s her curiosity that keeps her work alive and pushes her to want to do one thing: tell stories highlighting people's individualities, and the hidden similarities between us all. 

 

a b.s. computer science graduate from johns hopkins university, she is now working towards completing her MA in fashion styling, creative direction and digital direction at istituto marangoni.
